As of Friday, February 25, 2022, the Georgia Department of Education is no longer collecting data on the spread of COVID-19 in schools. As a result, we will no longer be publishing a weekly COVID report. Currently, the CDC has removed quarantine recommendations, except in high-risk congregate settings, and greatly reduced guidance for COVID-19 based on community level or in response to an outbreak. Murray County Schools will work with community partners and our local DPH to monitor our local community level, and follow recommended guidance should an outbreak occur. The safety of our staff and students is a priority and we continue to follow strategies in everyday operations to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, including the virus that causes COVID-19.
