mobile pantry

The Chattanooga Food Bank Mobile Pantry held a food drop Saturday at North Murray.  While the Food Bank supplies the groceries, they depend on our volunteers to get those food items handed out and packed in the families' cars. This food drop served 188 households which included 348 adults and 238 children. A tremendous effort that will feed 586 individuals. We share the schedule for these food drops on our system's social media, and the new schedule for 2023-2024 will also be posted on the Student Wellness page of our district website. The volunteers for this Mobile Pantry consist mainly of MCS students, and we could not be more proud of their love for their community. A special thank you to Saturday's volunteers, NMHS students, MC BOE member Aaron Phillips, and the Brock Family.  #URmurray #yourstory
