The Murray County Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Murray Class stopped by Murray County Schools this week as part of their Education Day class. The group toured Chatsworth Elementary, Murray County High School, and North Murray High School.
They stopped by Chatsworth Elementary where tour guides Luca Blackwell and Finn Ledford, current Mr. and Mrs. Chatsworth Elementary, showed off the hydroponics lab, LEGO League and Coding Team, the Helping Hands Food Pantry, and more. Murray County High School teachers Wade Owens (Construction) and Tyson Blassingame (Welding) shared with the group all about their CTAE pathways and the hands-on experience students gain in the courses. They ended the tour at North Murray High School where the robotics class showed off their amazing robots and the R2-D2 they are designing and building. Then the Culinary Arts program served the group a delicious lunch!
Murray County Schools greatly values our community partners and we love the chance to show off all the amazing things our students are up to!
