Congratulations to the District Teacher of the Year, Michelle Yauman. Michelle is a Kindergarten teacher at Spring Place Elementary. The announcement was made last night in between the girl's and boys' basketball games at North Murray. Ms. Yauman has been an educator for 19 years. She shared that her favorite and most rewarding part of teaching is watching the kids grow throughout the school year. Then, when they come back for the senior walk-through they are so excited to see their kindergarten teacher! A big thank you to Terry Kidd and Chatsworth Ford for providing the TOTY with a brand-new Ford Escape to drive for one year!
