Murray County Schools was honored with a prestigious Historic Preservation Award from the Whitfield-Murray Historical Society in a special ceremony held yesterday at the historic Old Spring Place Methodist Church.
The award was presented to Superintendent Steve Loughridge by Trustee Tim Howard from the Whitfield-Murray Historical Society. This recognition underscores the district's commitment to preserving local heritage and historical landmarks.
