Dear MCS Families - We wanted to inform you that tomorrow, May 2nd, between 8:00 AM and 10:45 AM, we will be conducting a test of our new safety system, Centegix, within our schools. This testing is similar to our regular fire or weather drills and is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance safety procedures at our schools. Centegix is designed to improve our ability to respond swiftly and effectively to any safety concerns that may arise. We are conducting this test to ensure that our safety protocols are in place and ready to be utilized when needed. Please reassure your child that this test is routine and there is no cause for alarm. We wanted to make you aware in case your student mentions the testing when they return home. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to maintain a secure learning environment for all students and staff.

It was an exhilarating showdown at the 2024 Quiz Bowl, organized by the talented Chasidy Hulett and our amazing elementary gifted teachers! 🧠🏆 🌟 Congratulations to Woodlawn Elementary Timberwolves for their impressive win at the 2024 Quiz Bowl! 🏆 The students below were the High Points Team Member for their team and Jonathan Guzman was also named MVP! Monday's meeting is Executive Session only. Thursday is the annual Budget Hearing and Board Budget Workshop traditionally held at 3:00 pm. The budget will be on the agenda of the regular meeting on Monday, May 6, 2024.
