We are excited to share this wonderful opportunity with our MCS families and community!

Our hearts are with the students, staff, and families of Apalachee High School and the entire Winder community during this incredibly difficult time. The loss they are facing is unimaginable, and our thoughts and prayers are with them.
To our Murray County Schools family: we want to reassure you that the safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. We have implemented comprehensive safety measures across all our schools to create a secure environment where learning can thrive:
Tailored Safety Plans, Ongoing Training and Drills, Centegix Safety Badges, and Dedicated School Resource Officers at every school.
We work closely with the Chatsworth City Police Department, Murray County Sheriff's Office, Eton Police Department, and all of our local Fire Departments, and EMS office. Together, we conduct active shooter drills and offer training that integrates first responders into our safety protocols, ensuring a unified and effective approach.
We know we must be committed to continually assessing and improving our safety measures, staying vigilant, and working closely with our community.
Let us reaffirm our commitment to the safety and well-being of everyone in our schools. Together, we will continue to work diligently to keep our schools safe and secure.
