MCHS Graduation Press Release 5/16/2024
Murray County High School Graduates and Parents, we know you
have concerns about plans for the Graduation Ceremony scheduled
for Friday, May 17th at 7:00 PM. We have communicated with other
high schools in the area and have been monitoring the weather for
the past several days.
We will continue to monitor the weather and the final
announcement will be made by 1:00 PM tomorrow afternoon.
As of right now, our hope and plan is for graduation to be on Friday
Night on Murray Field, as planned -- even if ponchos and umbrellas
are needed. We will continue to do everything in our power to
ensure that this is a special night to celebrate our graduates.
ALL (1st - 7th) Senior Finals will be given Friday May 10th due to Thursdays school closure.
Due to new reports of impassable roads caused by fallen trees and flooding from last night's severe weather, we will be closed today instead of the previously announced 2-hour delay.
If you did not get to order a 2024 Yearbook Mrs. McGee still has a few on hand. You can buy a yearbook for $75.
Yearbook pickup Monday May 6th through May 9th from Mrs. McGee in room 326.
Monday Juniors during lunches
Tuesday Sophomores during lunches
Wednesday Freshmen during lunches
Thursday Anyone can pickup during lunches
Friday there will be no yearbook pickups.

Summer Honors and Dual Enrollment Chromebook Checkout Information
If you are enrolled in Honors or Dual Enrollment classes you will need to reach out to Mr. Long for more information about keeping your Chromebook over the summer.
