We want to inform you that all Murray County School District schools are currently under a soft perimeter lockdown. This lockdown is a precautionary measure requested by local law enforcement due to an ongoing event in the vicinity of our schools.
During this perimeter lockdown, students will not be permitted outside the school buildings. However, please be assured that all school activities are proceeding as usual within the buildings, and the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.
We want to emphasize that all students and staff are safe within the school buildings. Dismissal times will remain unchanged, and we anticipate a smooth and orderly dismissal process.
We understand that situations like these can cause concern. Still, please rest assured that we are working closely with law enforcement to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in our school community.
