Called Meeting

Today is National IT Professional Day, and here at MCS, we have the best! This group works hard to keep us connected and plugged into the latest technology. They ensure our students and staff have what they need, from instructional technology to safety equipment. They enhance the educational experience for all here at Murray County Schools. Thank you, Tech! #URmurray

Excited to see the paving started today on the additional stadium parking and farmers market. This is a joint effort between the school system and county. Once this paving is complete the final perimeter fencing can be put in place at new track! #URmurray

Part of our MCS staff attended the TCU Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner Training this week. They are ready to come back to Murray County Schools and spread their new knowledge gained from this insightful training! TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. This is just another way our staff is working to connect with all students and make MCS the setting of success for all. #URmurray

MCS Families - We have just been informed that a portion of Hwy 76 has been shut down. This may delay some of our buses, causing late drop-off. Drivers will complete routes as quickly and safely as possible. As always, student safety is a priority for Murray County Schools. Thank you!

This week's #throwbackthursday is...........MCHS's Kam Ridley! Mr. Ridley has been a great addition to the MCS team, and we are thankful to have him with us here in Murray.

Can you guess this #throwbackthursday?

Today is World Physical Therapy Day!
Murray County Schools appreciates our Physical Therapists! They evaluate the needs of students and then design and implement appropriate therapies. Our physical therapists choose engaging activities to improve student performance in areas of functional mobility, gross motor, positioning, strength, range of motion, and daily living. Thank you for caring for our students. - Director of Exceptional Student Services.

You were right if you guessed Mrs. Jennifer Jones, the Assistant Principal at Eton Elementary, for our #Throwback Thursday! This is Mrs. Jones's 25th year in education. She majored in Special Education and is passionate about students with unique abilities. Mrs. Jones said. "I am very thankful to serve in my current role as assistant principal at Eton Elementary! #everyeagleeveryday
